• 2014

  The Founding

  PGNet-Hosting was founded in 2014 by x_PlayerGamer_01 and Riomura. The two couldn't be more different: one gamer, the other tech-savvy. The idea: a free hosting service for anyone who wnats to bring their projects online without incurring high costs.

• 2014-2016

  The Structure

  During this time, intensive work was carried out on the foundation. Servers were set up, systems were tested, and the first hosting services were prepared.

• 2016/2017

  The Start

  After two years of development, the time had come: PGNet hosting was ready for the public. The project launched successfully and quickly gained its first users.

• 2017-2019

  Growth and community

  User numbers grew steadily. Through praise and constructive criticism, PGNet Hosting was able to continuously improve its services. A dedicated community grew, the heart of the project.

• 2020-2022

  Difficult times

  These years were marked by rising server costs and the founders' temporary absence. The project faltered, but continued to exist in the background.

• 2022-2024

  Restart with a new team

  DiedFox, Nils, and DerKellerPotato brought a breath of fresh air to the team. Together, they modernized and revitalized PGNet Hosting.

• 2024

  A break for personal reasons

  After a death in x_PlayerGamer_01's family, the team put the project on standby again to create space for grief and personal healing.

  ---

• 2025

  PGNet hosting is back

  After much deliberation, with the support of the community and a customer offering cheaper server capacity, PGNet Hosting returned. Today, the project once again represents community, passion, and free hosting for everyone.
